You go around to visit Kathmandu in which the historic temple of Hindus ‘Pashupatinath Temple’ is situated where various rituals are done including cremation. Prayer flags and wheels in Boudhanath and Swayambhunath Stupa of Buddhism indicating religious harmony in Nepal. Moreover, Basantapur, Patan, and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares are the best examples for rich ancient culture through sculptures, temples and wood carvings.
Early morning view from Sarangkot followed by different cave visits, boating in Phewa lake, Begnas lake, Devi's fall, Peace pagoda, etc. are the major attractions of Pokhara you can do. Activities like paragliding, bungee jumping, mountain biking, rafting, etc gives unforgettable experiences and adventures to you.
Moving on to Chitwan National Park, you can do activities such as jeep safari in the jungle, elephant safari, elephant bathing, bird watching, canoeing in Budhi Rapti river, etc. Royal Bengal tigers, one horned rhinoceros, Gharials, wild boars and other various species are found in Chitwan that you can observe during jungle safari.
Today will be full day sightseeing and visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples, Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world where you will observe the exquisite art and architecture, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar square where you can see rich ancient culture through sculptures, wood carvings, temples and other structures.In the evening you can explore the city of Kathmandu on your own. In the early morning, you drive to Pokhara which takes 5-6 hours from Kathmandu. Alternatively, you can fly to Pokhara which is 30 minutes long and capture beautiful mountain views. In the evening you can relax and have leisure time around the lakeside and do some boating.
In the early morning, you hike to Sarangkot to see the beautiful sunrise and mountain view. Then, you head back for breakfast. You will be visiting Mahendra cave, Bat cave, Seti River Gorge. Lunch on the way and visit the peace pagoda later in the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After having breakfast, you head towards Chitwan which is a 4-5 hours drive from Pokhara in a private vehicle. Lunch on the way and in the evening, there will be a cultural program of Tharu communities.
Sightseeing in Chitwan and return Kathmandu
This day is a full day sightseeing in Chitwan starting with a jeep safari in the jungle and witnessing wildlife in their own natural habitat. Then, you’ll visit Tharu people living close to the jungle and experience their culture. Also, a canoe will take you along Rapti river where you get a great chance to see crocodiles and several bird species up close. In the evening, Tharu people will perform a stick dance in rhyme clashing the sticks.
