Mera Peak is one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal and falls in the Mahalangur Range in the Everest region. The summit stands at an elevation of 6,476 meters (21,247 feet). It is directly south of Everest and Lhotse and the view of Everest appears from the summit. It is one of the most popular trekking peaks in Nepal, known for its challenging ascent and spectacular views of some of the highest mountains in the world, including Mount Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu and Mt. Kanchenjunga. The trek to Mera Peak is a physically demanding but outstanding view of the lush forest and high altitude meadows and Himalayas compensated for the tough trek. It can take around 18-20 days to complete this trek.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative from our trekking company and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day resting and exploring the city.
Lukla - Paiya
After an early morning flight to Lukla, the trek begins with a steep descent towards the Dudh Koshi River. From there, the route heads up towards Paiya, passing through beautiful forests and crossing several streams.
Paiya - Panggom
The trek continues along a trail that offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes of Kharikhola Village, native to Sherpas. You may get a chance to experience the local culture and way of life as you trek.
Panggom - Nashing Dingma
The route heads towards the north, crossing a beautiful pass and descending into a dense forest. You'll camp for the night at Nashing Dingma.
Nashing Dingma - Chhatra Khola
The trail continues along the river and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You'll camp for the night at Chhatra Khola.
Chhatra Khola - Kothe
The trek involves crossing several streams and bridges before reaching the beautiful village of Kothe.
Kothe - Thagnak
The trail heads towards the north, crossing the Hinku Khola River and passing through beautiful landscapes. You'll camp for the night at Thagnak.
Today is a rest day to help you acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can spend the day exploring the surrounding area and taking in the stunning views.
Thagnak - Khare
The trail continues up towards Khare, passing through rocky landscapes and offering stunning views of the Mera Peak.
It will be another rest day to help you acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can spend the day exploring the surrounding area and preparing for the climb. It is a good idea to climb 300m and come back to the lodge.
Khare - Mera Base Camp
The route heads towards the Mera La Pass and up to Mera Base Camp. You'll camp for the night at the base camp.
Mera Base Camp to High Camp
The trek continues up towards High Camp, where you'll prepare for the climb to the summit of Mera Peak. You'll camp for the night at High Camp.
High Camp to Summit and back to Khare
The day begins early with a climb to the summit of Mera Peak. The climb involves using basic mountaineering equipment and can be challenging. After reaching the summit, you'll descend back to Khare for the night.
Khare - Kothe
The route retraces back towards Kothe, passing through beautiful landscapes and forests.
Kothe to Thuli Kharka
The trail continues towards Thuli Kharka, passing through several pastures where Sherpas bring their Yaks to graze. You will see stunning views of the surrounding mountains as you trek.
Thuli Kharka - Lukla
The final day of the trek involves crossing Chhatra la pass and descending to Lukla another 1800m. It is a strenuous trek.
We will catch early morning flight to Kathmandu and plan for the day. We can arrange a massage and trip to the city to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudha Stupa and give you an opportunity to buy Souvenirs. You can have a a drink and dinner with your guide and catch up with the memories of the trek.
We will drop you at the airport for your onward journey back home.
